Informa TechTarget is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented person to join our Deal Desk teamin the position of Deal Desk Analyst.
The Deal Desk Analyst is responsible for providing data to the sales team at the pre-sale stage of their proposals to mirror delivery of post-sale products. As well as managing the contract process from signed contract to order creation, ensuring we are compliant and set up for successful delivery of our campaigns.
This is a cross-function role that requires the recipient to learn a deep understanding of product logic from set-up to delivery and understanding the fundamentals of contracting within the context of today’s fast paced environment of online media.
Essential Job Functions:
- Request campaign inventory and collaborate with internal teams to establish program parameters and develop client recommendations
- Price products for contract components across multiple formats, including CPQ forms and agency templates (Excel)
- Execute pre-sale data requests for all Informa TechTarget initiatives
- Draft Statements of Work (SOWs) and approve Insertion Orders (IOs), Purchase Orders (POs), and sales contracts
- Support the sales team with data-driven insights and recommendations to ensure successful campaign outcomes
- Develop comprehensive understanding of Informa TechTarget's database and conversion metrics
- Generate contracts that comply with corporate policies, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to validate signed contracts and create orders within order management systems
- Process change orders with validated paperwork and accurate pricing
- Partner with Finance teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing, and timely contract booking
- Develop thorough understanding of processes, product offerings, and appropriate terms and conditions, including pricing models, discounting structures, revenue recognition, and approval processes
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal teams throughout the campaign lifecycle, including Campaign Managers, Sales Enablement, Marketing Operations, Finance, Legal, Sales Management, and Product teams
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- 1 to 2+ years of relevant, marketing digital campaigns experience;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to analyze key metrics and interpret them into actionable data points;
- Detail-oriented and extremely reliable – team player;
- A focus on process and standardization;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Possesses a sense of urgency as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize;
- Accurate data entry skills, problem solving ability; and,
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently.
