About the Opportunity

Astris Search Group is partnering with established and growing law firms in Singapore to identify talented Commercial Lawyers across various levels of seniority.

We are seeking commercially minded legal professionals who enjoy advising businesses, navigating complex transactions and delivering practical, strategic legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including service agreements, distribution agreements, joint ventures and other business contracts.
• Advise corporate clients on commercial transactions, contractual obligations and regulatory matters.
• Support corporate structuring, business acquisitions and general corporate advisory work.
• Conduct legal due diligence and identify commercial and contractual risks.
• Work closely with partners and clients on complex commercial matters.

Requirements

• Recognised law degree and relevant legal qualifications.
• Ideally 2–8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), although other levels will be considered.
• Experience in corporate and commercial law within a law firm or relevant in-house environment.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and legal advisory skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical, business-focused advice.
• Singapore-qualified lawyers are preferred, although candidates with relevant international experience may be considered.
