REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a technical discipline such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or Material Science.
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, preferably in a relevant industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, Lean, Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Experience with SAP and CATIA is an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Establish quality metrics, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Liaise with internal and external parties (customer) for any quality issue.
• Champion quality initiatives and promote best practices across the organization.
• Report on quality performance to senior management, highlighting trends and recommendations.
• Maintain 5S and participate in Lean activities.
• Perform any other tasks given by Superior.
