Job overview
We are seeking an analytical, strategic, and highly structured Customer Operations & Support Manager to coordinate and manage retail energy customer frameworks, utility operation support portfolios, and billing/account response pipelines from planning through completion. This role will work closely with cross-functional technical teams, energy market operations, billing specialists, systems administration, and organizational stakeholders to ensure daily retail operations, query resolution lifecycles, and customer service desks are delivered according to agreed schedules, architecture blueprints, strict Open Electricity Market (OEM) compliance codes, and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate customer support projects, retail service operations assessments, and helpdesk resolution pipelines from initial planning through execution.
  • Develop service level logic layouts, baseline response turnaround milestones, escalation implementation matrices, and digital support deployment blueprints.
  • Coordinate closely with management, billing teams, energy system specialists, system administrators, and back-office operations teams.
  • Monitor project progress, digital incident registries, operational support costs, tracking timelines, and key structural service deliverables.
  • Coordinate with clients, systems technicians, commercial account partners, independent suppliers, and key energy market stakeholders to maintain absolute operational alignment.
  • Review documentation requirements, technical data sheets, dispute log files, service ticket tracking histories, and related validation files.
  • Support procurement and coordination of specialized digital support tools, customer ticketing infrastructure hardware, and related communications equipment.
  • Monitor system installation, support dashboard testing, digital reporting interface configuration, and formal service desk configuration handover activities.
  • Identify operational risks, customer delivery variances, utility billing bottlenecks, and potential response delays and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct operational review meetings and prepare comprehensive service execution summaries, metrics validation schedules, and management dashboard reports.
  • Ensure deployment and support activity programs are carried out in accordance with relevant energy market regulations, PDPA data compliance codes, and international quality certifications.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, support registry logs, database interaction records, and tracking logs throughout the service lifecycle.
  • Support improvements to customer operations delivery pipelines, multi-disciplinary retail coordination, and continuous feedback workflows.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Communications, or a related applied technical discipline.
  • Experience in customer support operations, application system execution, utility/retail helpdesk troubleshooting, service coordination, or related advisory pipelines (experience in the energy or utilities sector is a major advantage).
  • Good understanding of structural support architecture, root-cause analysis, capability testing models, and technical cross-functional coordination.
  • Familiarity with enterprise ticketing software, specialized customer logs, organizational tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace), or modern spreadsheet engines.
  • Strong project coordination, technical communication, relationship alignment, and stakeholder management skills under strict operational pressure.
  • Good analytical and systematic structural troubleshooting abilities with extreme attention to operational response details and data accuracy.
  • Able to manage multiple support activities simultaneously and execute tasks according to tight, agreed project timelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, common CRM or ticketing tools, and standard project tracking frameworks.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary site operators, external contractors, technical services providers, or cross-functional team leaders will be an advantage.
