Responsible for planning and strategizing sales activities while collaborating with Agency Managers to achieve production and recruitment targets. Enhances distribution productivity by aligning initiatives with agency segmentation. Acts as a mediator in agency-related conflicts and works with departments to resolve agent-related issues. Leads and develops Business Development Executives and Admin Support staff in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, manage and monitor the performance of Central Region agents to ensure they are achieving their annual goal.
• Counsel Takaful Central Region agents on results and take necessary corrective action if overall performance below par.
• Recruit, train and help motivate Takaful Central Region agents through agency visits, individual face to face meetings, training and seminars etc.
• Give instructional and motivational presentations during agency visit, in - agency training sessions, and agent training classes for Central Region.
• Organize, supervise and implement customized courses, seminars, talk, presentations and training for Takaful Central Region agency.
• Assist in agency recruitment, training and development of new Takaful Central Region agents.
• Prepare periodic performance reports & Contest Updates.
• Ad -hoc assignments as and when required.
• To lead, coach and guide a team of Central Region Business Development Executive to drive contracting agent, active agent.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

We are looking for people who has

• Degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Science or Business Administration or,
• Minimum 5 years working experience in business development/ sales management preferably in agency or business development or training or marketing in financial institutions
• Result-driven, versatile with experience in leading and driving sales team
• Strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality
• Experienced in problem solving and managing stakeholders
• Dynamic, self-motivated and reliable character with positive outlook
• Excellent inter-personal and management skills
• Strong team player
• Possess discipline, initiative and able to work independently
