About the Role

We are looking for a Computational Lithography R&D Engineer to develop algorithms that transform target wafer patterns into manufacturable mask solutions. The role focuses on OPC, ILT, contour prediction, and process-window optimization. You will combine computational imaging, large-scale optimization, and EDA software engineering for industrial patterning applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable OPC and ILT algorithms for Manhattan and curvilinear masks.
• Implement efficient optical and resist imaging kernels.
• Define objectives for edge-placement error, critical dimension, mask complexity, rules, and process-window margin.
• Build benchmarks for contour quality, hotspots, runtime, and memory.
• Accelerate algorithms on GPUs and integrate them with GDSII/OASIS flows.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Optics, Computational Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in computational lithography, OPC/ILT, mask optimization, or related inverse problems.
• Strong background in optimization, Fourier optics, image processing, or differentiable programming.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python; GPU or distributed computing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with GDSII/OASIS and geometry processing is an advantage.
