Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure production targets, quality standards and shipment schedules are achieved. This role involves managing manpower and team performance, maintaining workplace discipline, and ensuring effective communication within the production team and across departments. You will also be responsible for minimising material claims, ensuring compliance with ISO requirements, and supporting production readiness through first-set confirmation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily production activities.
• Ensure production output meets the planned production targets.
• Ensure production schedules are followed to meet shipment deadlines.
• Monitor production performance to achieve quality and yield targets.
• Minimise material claims and ensure they are within the allocated budget.
• Train new operators and develop key personnel, such as Line Leaders and Part Suppliers.
• Ensure effective communication among subordinates and with personnel from other departments.
• Ensure all areas under responsibility comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Maintain good discipline and workplace practices within the production lines.
• Ensure first-set confirmation is carried out for all required production activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of working experience, minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in EMS, PCBA, SMT, THT or electronics manufacturing will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of production planning, manpower management, productivity, quality and yield control.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 5S, Lean and Kaizen practices.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage production operators, Line Leaders, attendance and workplace discipline.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
