Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and strategic Trade Marketing Manager to lead our retail presence and consumer activation strategies across Malaysia. Drive categories sales and share growth and shopper loyalty through data-driven trade programs and high-impact activations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop trade marketing strategies and plans to deliver marketing and sales plans
• Develop strong understanding of consumer, category, shopper and retailer insights to ensure robust development of plans and strategies.
• Provide strong leadership in the translation and execution of the marketing strategy into impactful in trade programmes.
• Develop and identify trade marketing growth opportunities that are aligned with the brand and sales strategy based on strong consumer, category and retailer insight or understanding.
• Ensure successful launch of new products- provide input pre launch; forecasting, distribution target, launch and post launch meetings. Drive implementation of the agreed trade marketing plans and tracking distribution channel/region agreed with Sales team with offtake analysis post launch.
• Ensuring a strong link between the marketing and sales team to align all activities
• Use appropriate data to promote category management approach
• Develop trade marketing budget requirements for forward years based on the plans and strategies of the respective sectors
• Explore new exciting ways of merchandising that will engage the shopper based on shopper insights or understanding.
• Analyse all trade marketing activities to evaluate its effectiveness with ROI evaluation.
• Business management such as planning, forecasting, budgeting and evaluating performances both quantitative and qualitative aspect
• Lead activation team to ensure both in-store and roadshow execute flawlessly and achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess minimum a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Winning mentality, passionate, proactive, energetic and highly motivated with strong leadership qualities.
• Mature, dependable and resourceful who able to work independently.
• Good time and project management and detailed oriented with hands-on style of management.
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meticulous and possess sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS applications.
