Key Responsibilities
- Handle general administrative duties, including telephone calls, correspondence, filing, scanning, printing and document management.
- Maintain proper physical and electronic records.
- Assist with court e-filing, document extraction, cause-list searches and monitoring of filing status.
- Prepare simple letters, court forms and documents based on the Firm’s templates and instructions.
- Arrange delivery and service of documents and monitor their status.
- Assist lawyers in preparing documents for court hearings and case management.
- Maintain the Firm’s calendar and update court dates, appointments and deadlines.
- Record petty-cash transactions, expenses and case-related disbursements.
- Assist with invoices, receipts, payment records and basic monthly accounting documentation.
- Monitor office supplies and assist in maintaining an orderly office environment.
- Follow up on assigned tasks and provide timely updates to the person in charge.
- Perform other reasonable administrative and accounts-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM
- Basic knowledge of administration, bookkeeping or accounting.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, email and PDF documents.
- Able to write, read and communicate in basic English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Organised, careful, responsible and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently after receiving instructions.
- Able to manage deadlines and follow up on assigned work without repeated reminders.
- Have relevant experience in a law firm or familiarity with the court e-filing system is an advantage, but not compulsory.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
