About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cell Culture & Bioprocessing Laboratory Technician to manage our stem cell bank and execute monthly production of Stem Cell Conditioned Medium. The primary responsibility involves thawing, expanding, and banking MSCs, executing serum-free conditioning cycles, and processing harvest fluids for downstream lyophilization (freeze-drying).

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine aseptic culture, passaging, and expansion of human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells (hUCMSCs) in multi-layer flasks/cell stacks (T-175, 5-Layer Stacks)

• Establish and maintain Master and Working Cell Bank vials (MCB)

• Execute monthly scale-up cultures for conditioned medium generation

• Perform serum-free media exchanges, collection, and aseptic harvesting of conditioned medium

• Carry out primary clarification of harvested Conditioned Medium

• Freeze drying and formulated harvest batches

• Perform routine cell counts, viability checks, and cell morphology evaluations

• Conduct standard bioburden/sterility sampling and in-process testing

• Maintain precise batch production records (BPR), cell banking inventories, and SOP documentation

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's in biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or related life sciences field

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture (MSC, iPSC, or primary cell experience strongly preferred)

• Fresh graduates with strong wet lab background are welcome to apply

• High attention to detail, strong record-keeping skills, and the ability to work independently to meet monthly production targets

• Fluent English
