Quality Assurance and Quality Control Executive
Job Description

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, with a primary focus on chromatography systems (GC/GC-MS) and other physical or chemical testing equipment.

  • Perform routine physical, chemical, and matrix-specific testing on a variety of product formats, including liquid and powder flavor products.

  • Participate in daily organoleptic and sensory evaluation panels to verify product profiles, aroma, and taste consistency.

  • Review laboratory data, test results, and manufacturing records to facilitate batch disposition, approve or reject materials, and issue necessary quality documentation.

  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support FSSC 22000 requirements and any other required quality standards.

  • Support the upkeep of specialized compliance programs, including Halal Assurance Systems, by verifying raw material certificates, ensuring production tracking, and maintaining daily documentation.

  • Contribute to plant readiness and participate in external, internal, third-party certification, and customer quality audits.

  • Participate in investigating out-of-specification (OOS) results, internal process deviations, and customer quality feedback using root cause analysis.

  • Assist in developing and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to improve processing, blending, and laboratory workflows.

  • Partner with production, warehousing, and regulatory teams to support general operational efficiency and complete ad-hoc quality or compliance projects as assigned.

  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned


Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related

  • Possess 2 years relevant experience, preferably in the flavour industry

  • Strong working knowledge of lab analytical equipment, including GC

  • Familiar with FSSC22000, Halal and any other relevant standards

  • Team player, proactive and meticulous in work

  • Able to multitask and work within timeline

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
