Job Summary
Join Kim Hua Construction as a Site Engineer to lead site activities, ensuring safe, efficient execution aligned with project requirements and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to technical drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe site environment while managing materials and equipment efficiently
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth work progress and timely issue resolution
Attend site meetings and deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders to support informed decision-making
Review and interpret technical drawings to provide on-site technical guidance and proactively resolve site-related issues
Assist in preparing work schedules and monitor construction progress to ensure projects meet deadlines
Implement safety and quality control procedures consistently to maintain compliance and site standards
Prepare accurate site reports and maintain progress records for quality control and regulatory compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline with relevant hands-on site experience
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings to support technical site decisions
Practical understanding of local site management, construction methods, quality control, and safety procedures
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
Proactive problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to managing site teams and subcontractors
