People Manager

Department: People & CultureReports To: Management

Job PurposeLead OSG's People & Culture function, ensuring effective HR operations while developing the organisation's people, performance, engagement and workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the HR/People function.
• Manage and develop the HR Admin & Executive and Talent Acquisition functions.
• Develop manpower plans together with department heads and Management.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee administration and offboarding.
• Ensure payroll, benefits, employment documentation and employee records are properly administered.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbook and SOPs.
• Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment requirements.
• Manage the company's performance appraisal process.
• Work with managers to establish meaningful employee KPIs and goals.
• Monitor probation, performance improvement and employee development.
• Advise managers on employee relations, disciplinary and performance matters.
• Develop employee retention, engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Develop training and career-development plans.
• Identify succession and development opportunities for employees.
• Conduct salary and manpower reviews with Management.
• Support organisational restructuring and job design.
• Develop company culture and internal communication initiatives.
• Oversee employee events, engagement activities and company newsletter/communications.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide management reporting.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality and access controls for employee information.
• Act as the primary People & Culture partner to Management and department heads.

Key KPIs: Employee retention, hiring effectiveness, appraisal completion, employee engagement, HR compliance, payroll/HR administration accuracy, training/development completion and HR process improvement.
