About the Role

We are seeking a Reinsurance Analyst to support reinsurance analysis, portfolio management, reporting, and risk assessment activities. The successful candidate will work closely with underwriting, actuarial, finance, claims, and other teams to support accurate and timely reinsurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze reinsurance portfolios, contracts, premiums, claims, and related data.
• Support the review and administration of reinsurance arrangements.
• Prepare reports, analysis, and management information for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance, exposures, and key risk indicators.
• Assist with reinsurance calculations, reconciliations, and data validation.
• Review treaty and facultative reinsurance documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Work with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and claims teams on reinsurance matters.
• Identify data discrepancies and support timely resolution.
• Assist with renewal analysis and preparation of reinsurance submissions.
• Monitor industry developments and reinsurance market trends.
• Ensure documentation and processes comply with internal policies and applicable requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in reinsurance, insurance, risk analysis, finance, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good understanding of insurance and reinsurance concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant analytical tools.
• Experience with reinsurance systems, actuarial software, or insurance databases is an advantage.
