About the Roles

We are seeking a Service Engineer to join a company specialising in CNC Machine Tools & Industrial Machinery in the West Region. This permanent position offers a basic salary of up to $4,000, Performance Bonus, and AWS, with a 5-day work week from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining CNC machines while providing technical support to local and overseas customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Report to the Service Manager in Singapore and deliver technical and service support.
• Install and set up CNC Machining Centers, Lathes, and ProCobots.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with CNC controllers, machines, and ProCobots at customer sites.
• Carry out machine inspections, preventive maintenance, geometry checks, and laser calibration.
• Conduct pre-shipment inspections of CNC machines before dispatch to overseas markets.
• Advise customers on routine machine maintenance and recommended best practices.
• Attend to customer service calls and technical enquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with Service and Application teams to provide technical assistance to overseas customers and distributors.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in servicing CNC machines or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC controllers, machining centres, and lathes would be an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, carry out preventive maintenance, and perform machine calibration.
• Good technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and travel when required.
