Responsibilities
Position Summary
The HR Business Partner & HR Operations Manager – Venture Operations is responsible for providing strategic and operational human resources support to the Group's Venture Operations business units.
Based in Singapore, the position works closely with the Head of Venture Operations, business leaders and regional HR teams to align workforce planning, talent management, employee relations and HR operations with business objectives.
The role serves as a key HR liaison between Venture Operations and the Group HR function, supporting workforce expansion, organisational development, HR governance and the implementation of consistent HR practices across multiple business units and geographical locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partnering & Workforce Planning (40%)
Partner with Venture Operations leadership to understand business priorities, organisational requirements and workforce challenges.
Provide HR advisory support to business leaders on manpower planning, organisational structure, employee performance and talent management.
Support headcount planning, workforce allocation, recruitment priorities and resource optimisation across assigned business units.
Work with business leaders to identify talent gaps, succession requirements and organisational development opportunities.
Advise management on employee relations, performance improvement, disciplinary matters and workforce changes.
Support business expansion, new operational setups and organisational restructuring initiatives.
Translate business requirements into practical HR initiatives aligned with Group HR policies.
2. HR Operations & Regional Coordination (35%)
Coordinate HR operations across Venture Operations business units and assigned international locations.
Oversee employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, internal transfers, employment changes and offboarding.
Work with Country HR teams to ensure HR processes are implemented consistently and in accordance with applicable local requirements.
Coordinate payroll-related information, employee benefits administration, attendance, leave management and HR documentation with the relevant local HR and Finance teams.
Support cross-border employment arrangements, workforce mobility and HR coordination for business units operating across different jurisdictions.
Maintain accurate workforce information, organisational structures and employee records.
Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to HR service delivery.
3. HR Governance, Compliance & Employee Relations (15%)
Ensure Venture Operations HR activities are aligned with Group HR policies, internal controls and applicable employment requirements.
Coordinate with Country HR and Legal teams on employment compliance, disciplinary matters and employee-related risks.
Support the implementation of employment policies, performance management frameworks and HR standard operating procedures.
Monitor HR-related operational risks and escalate significant issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
Assist in resolving employee relations matters through consistent and documented HR processes.
Support HR compliance reviews, internal audits and management reporting.
4. HR Projects, Reporting & Process Improvement (10%)
Prepare workforce reports, headcount analyses, recruitment updates and HR operational dashboards for Venture Operations leadership.
Support HR-related initiatives arising from business expansion, restructuring and operational transformation.
Develop practical HR procedures and reporting mechanisms to improve efficiency and accountability.
Provide HR recommendations and operational insights to support business decisions.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
Professional Experience
Relevant professional experience in HR business partnering, HR operations or generalist HR management.
Experience supporting multiple business units or regional operations is advantageous.
Practical experience in workforce planning, recruitment coordination, employee relations and HR policy implementation.
Exposure to cross-border HR coordination and multinational business environments.
Experience working with business leaders and managing competing operational priorities.
