Job Summary:
The Inventory & Distribution Center (DC) Executive is responsible for managing central distribution center operations, optimizing inventory control, and streamlining last-mile logistics. The role manages inventory movements and accuracy within the AutoCount system, coordinates replenishment to 4 company outlets and vending machines, oversees outbound deliveries via internal fleet and Lalamove, and liaises with 16 sister company outlets for inbound supplies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Distribution Center & Outbound Logistics Management
- Order Fulfillment: Oversee picking, packing, and dispatch processes at the DC to fulfill daily orders from physical outlets, cafés, and online channels (Grab / Kiah Store).
- Fleet & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate daily delivery routes for internal drivers and manage bookings with third-party logistics providers (e.g., Lalamove) for heavy or urgent transfers.
- Cross-Docking & Distribution: Streamline inflow from suppliers and outflow to the 4 company outlets and vending machine networks.
2. Inventory Integrity & AutoCount System Controls
- Manage and execute inventory movements (Goods Received Notes, Delivery Orders, Stock Transfers, Adjustments) accurately within AutoCount.
- Ensure multi-channel syncing so stock deductions from e-commerce/delivery platforms (Kiah Store & Grab) reflect in AutoCount.
- Discrepancy Investigation: Audit system data against physical counts to identify and correct errors or theft.
3. Supply Chain Integration (Sister Company Liaison)
- Liaise with 16 sister company outlets to schedule inbound bulk supply arrivals, inspect quality, and verify documentation.
- Consolidate buying power and coordinate stock distribution between sister companies and corporate branches.
4. Inventory Control & Quality Assurance
- Plan and execute weekly cycle counts and monthly comprehensive physical stock-takes at the DC.
- Enforce FIFO/FEFO protocols for perishable café raw items and grocery inventory.
- Identify high-wastage areas, track product damages, and implement storage strategies to reduce shrinkage.
Requirement & Qualifications:
Experience
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in DC operations, inventory control, warehouse fulfillment, or logistics management.
- Experience in handling dual-channel retail (B2B outlet supply + B2C e-commerce) in FMCG/F&B startup is advantageous.
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Skill & Competencies
- Mandatory experience operating AutoCount (Inventory, Warehouse, or Billing modules).
- Familiarity with digital routing, fleet management logic, and on-demand delivery apps (e.g., Lalamove).
- Excellent numerical and analytical ability, strong multi-tasking skills, willingness to work in a hands-on warehouse environment, and possess own transport with a valid driving license for occasional site audits.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
