Role Summary: Oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of food products while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels (Raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods), conduct cycle counts, perform physical audits, and ensure proper rotation of perishable goods using FIFO/FEFO methods.
- Manage Inbound: Manage stock receiving (Raw materials, packaging materials, product returns, parcels), arrange at designated areas, fill up Inbound forms.
- Order Fulfillment: Supervise the picking and packing of orders, checking stocks availability.
- Coordinate outbound: Monitor loading with reefer (refrigerated) transport to preserve cold-chain integrity during transit, inspection of trucks, fill up Outbound forms.
- Cold Chain & Storage Oversight: Inspect temperature-sensitive cargo and monitor cold room/freezer storage conditions, build an effective system to ensure smooth and error free outbound, research on cost effective methods to improve warehouse operations.
- Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks to warehouse team for morning and evening shift, create clear and effective SOPs, conduct briefing sessions, train new hires, and evaluate staff performance.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and authorize product returns or exchanges.
- Reporting: Track warehouse activities, incidents, any issues to Factory Manager.
- Safety & Sanitation Compliance: Enforce warehouse cleanliness, pest control protocols, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably within an F&B, cold storage, or FMCG environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software like SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety guidelines, HACCP principles, and inventory control techniques.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
