Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Planning & Strategy Senior Executive to support business planning, financial analysis, commercial management, and performance reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to monitor business performance, support pricing and tender decisions, identify business opportunities, and ensure compliance with internal processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance, forecasts, and financial variances.
• Identify risks and opportunities to support business planning.

2. Business Analysis & Performance Reporting

• Prepare monthly reports covering units, revenue, and gross profit (GP).
• Analyse sales and GP performance for monthly management reviews.
• Calculate GP for IFL applications and identify business trends and improvement opportunities.

3. Pricing & Commercial Management

• Develop pricing proposals for new products.
• Maintain the CPQ Price Book and Product Configurator.
• Manage Sales Pricing Request (SPR) submissions and approvals.
• Prepare monthly subsidy claims and quarterly GMA claims.

4. Project & Tender Analysis

• Conduct financial and business analysis for projects and tenders.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and commercial evaluations.
• Support management decision-making for business initiatives.

5. Customer Experience (CX) Management

• Prepare annual customer revenue and GP reports.
• Monitor monthly customer retention performance.
• Prepare quarterly customer experience KPI reports.
• Lead annual Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys and analyse results.

6. Process & Compliance Management

• Review and maintain SOPs, ISO documentation, and divisional process documents.
• Ensure processes comply with business requirements and applicable ISO standards.

Requirements

• Experience in business planning, business analysis, financial analysis, or a related function.
• Experience in a commercial or business environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, business performance, commercial principles, and financial KPIs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• SAP experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Proactive, structured, detail-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven.
• Strong ownership and accountability, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders.
• Malaysian Citizens
• Willing to travel to Singapore approximately 1–2 times per year.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A business-minded professional with strong financial and analytical capabilities, ideally experienced in budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis, pricing, or management reporting. The candidate should be comfortable working with data, preparing reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to support business decisions.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
