Location: Singapore HQ (Supporting SG, Mainland China, Hong Kong & Indonesia)

Compensation: ~12,000 SGD / Month + Equity

NexPCB is expanding! As we establish our Singapore HQ, we are looking for a strategic Data Expert to partner directly with our CEO and key cross-functional leads.

We are a fast-growing turnkey hardware & EMS partner (100+ team) serving 300+ hardware & IoT innovators across 50+ countries. In this role, your core mission is to upgrade our data foundation into a business loop engine—establishing a Single Source of Truth (SSOT), unified metrics, and reusable data assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Master Data & Unified Metrics: Establish Master Data Registries and data ownership mechanisms across key entities (Customers, Suppliers, Materials/Components, Products/BOMs, Projects, Orders).

2. SSOT & Data Governance: Architecture design from Source Systems → Cleaning/Integration → SSOT → Departmental Data Marts. Build data lineage, quality monitoring, anomaly alerts, and metric change controls.

3. End-to-End Business Loops: Connect key operational loops (Sales Leads → Quoting → Orders → Procurement → Delivery → Payment) integrated with Financial P&L and Cash Flow views.

4. Engineering Data Assetization: Transform BOMs, product structures, alternative components, component risks, and DFM/NPI data into reusable, searchable assets to fuel quoting, engineering decisions, and AI applications.

5. AI Enablement: Build trusted data foundations to power future AI/RAG/Agent applications (e.g., smart quoting, internal knowledge retrieval) without metric discrepancies.

6. Cross-Functional Facilitation: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering to define standardized metrics, resolve data conflicts, and enforce data ownership.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

️ Experience: 5–8+ years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, BI/Analytics Engineering, or Data Governance. Proven track record of building data platforms from 0 to 1.

️ Technical & Architectural Skills: Proficient in Data Warehousing/Lakehouse concepts, ETL/ELT, dbt, Airflow, or similar stacks. Strong focus on data architecture, modeling, and governance rather than just report building.

️ Domain Background: Prior experience in Manufacturing, EMS, Supply Chain, IoT Hardware, or complex B2B business models is highly preferred.

️ Data Governance Expertise: Deep understanding of Master Data Management (MDM), data dictionaries, data lineage, quality control, and business metric definition.

️ AI/ML Literacy: Fundamental understanding of RAG, Vector Search, and LLM Agents—knowing when data engineering is required vs. when AI shouldn't be over-engineered.

️ Communication & Mindset: Fluent in English; proactive cross-departmental driver rather than a passive request-taker.
