Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Initially a 12 month contract, with intention to convert to permanent.
  • Immediate start available.
  • Data Privacy and PDPA experience is essential.
  • Experience working in a MAS regulated environment (banking, insurance, etc) is essential.
  • Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

The role applies a Resilience Risk (RR) lens across key risk areas (including Technology & Cyber Security, Data, Third Party, Change Execution, and Business Interruption/Incident Risk) to ensure Legal Day 1 (LD1) readiness and sustained control. This includes identifying, assessing, and managing dependencies across people, processes, technology, data, and third parties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Policy comparison and control alignment — compare and harmonize standards and policies across both environments to avoid inconsistent or conflicting application, and to maintain clear control ownership throughout the transition. Support MAS engagement on any required transitions.
  • Dependency and governance management — Validate end-to-end dependencies across processes, controls, and systems; oversee risk and impact assessments; maintain governance documentation; and drive timely issue resolution.
  • TSA Model stewardship — Provide resilience risk stewardship input into the scope, design and validation of the TSA model and its assumptions, ensuring it meets business needs and appropriately reflects all regulatory requirements and dependencies. Review TSA-related resilience risk artefacts and provide sign-off / challenge as required during sign-to-close and post-LD1
  • Transition coordination — Manage any required transition of SLOD Advisory processes ahead of LD1 to ensure continuity of oversight and control coverage for INSP. Coordinate and engage stakeholders across INSP, relevant wider stakeholders and third parties to deliver outcomes at pace. Identify and support upskilling / capability build needs required to sustain resilience risk stewardship during and after LD1, particularly where skills are not transitioning into perimeter teams.
  • Resilience risk stewardship and advisory — Provide specialist advice and robust challenge to help 1LOD and control owners understand resilience risks and the effectiveness of the control environment; monitor the local external environment to get early sight of emerging risks and provide detailed guidance on controls required to mitigate them; and build relevant internal and industry relationships.
