About the role:

We are looking for a Buyer Manager to lead IT hardware sourcing and purchasing, manage supplier negotiations and supervise the buying team.

Job location:

• Brightstar HQ, Block D, Medan Connaught, Jalan 3/144A, Cheras, 56000 Kuala Lumpur
• Nearest station: Taman Connaught MRT (Kajang Line)
• Working days: Monday–Friday (9:30am–6:30pm or 10:00am–7:00pm), Saturday half day

Key responsibilities:

• Lead purchasing strategy for IT hardware across all outlets
• Negotiate with brands and distributors on pricing, terms and rebates
• Manage inventory levels, stock turnover and ageing
• Lead and supervise the buyer and procurement team
• Work closely with product, sales and finance teams on planning

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
• At least 3–5 years of purchasing experience, with team supervision; IT/electronics preferred
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Good analytical and Excel skills
• Good communication skills for supplier liaison

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
