Job Responsibilities – Floor Manager
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service and an enjoyable dining experience.
- Supervise, train, and guide service staff, assign duties, and coordinate shift schedules.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure efficient table turnover.
- Handle guest enquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate orders and timely service.
- Conduct pre-service briefings on menu items, daily specials, reservations, and service arrangements.
- Maintain high standards of table presentation, cleanliness, hygiene, and staff grooming.
- Monitor dining area supplies and coordinate replenishment of service items and beverages.
- Oversee billing, payment collection, and daily cash reconciliation in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with private dining events, group bookings, and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety, and company service standards.
- Report operational issues, staffing needs, and maintenance requirements to the Restaurant Manager.
