Associate Dentist (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled, dedicated and experienced Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice at PERSONA DENTAL BANDAR SUNWAY, Selangor, under the new management of Dental Republik.

This is a full-time position ideal for a dentist with strong clinical experience in private practice, a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, and the ability to perform a wide range of general and advanced dental procedures.

You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team committed to clinical excellence, continuous professional development and an exceptional patient experience.

What you'll be doing

• Provide comprehensive dental consultations, examinations, diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Perform general dental procedures, including scaling and polishing, restorations, extractions and other routine treatments.
• Independently perform Root Canal Treatment (RCT), Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT) and Minor Oral Surgery (MOS) within your clinical competency.
• Conduct basic orthodontic assessments and provide appropriate orthodontic treatments within your training and competency.
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care and available treatment options.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure proper documentation of all treatments.
• Work closely with Dental Surgery Assistants and the clinic management team to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety standards and professional dental regulations.
• Contribute to patient satisfaction, treatment acceptance and the continuous growth of the practice.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC).
• Registered with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) and holding a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in private dental practice.
• Basic knowledge and clinical competency in Orthodontics.
• Able to independently perform MOS, RCT and VPT.
• Strong clinical judgement, treatment planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
• Confident in managing patients independently while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
• Professional, responsible, adaptable and able to work effectively in a team.
• Willing to work according to the clinic's operational schedule, including weekends where required.
