Salt Talent Search is looking for a Audion Voice Expert for a 4 months contract role, this role is with a well know technology client

• Focused on speech aesthetics; collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in data. Your trained ear will help set the gold standard for quality and rigor in speech annotation.
• Create, edit, and maintain high-quality annotation guidelines tailored to speech aesthetics. Ensure these guidelines are up-to-date, clear, and concise to enable accurate annotations.
• Evaluate and grade the quality of speech annotations. Identify areas of improvement and provide feedback to optimize annotation quality, especially where subtle differences in emotion, audio quality, intention, and adherence are critical.
• Directly annotate data for key tasks when necessary, including writing prompt responses and judging output quality datasets. Your discriminative skills will provide reliable signals for improving data quality.
• Assess speech samples for subtle differences in emotion, audio quality, intention, and adherence to task requirements across our products.
• Provide reliable, high-fidelity quality signals for datasets, addressing gaps in quality assurance observed in datasets.
• Must be comfortable recording your voice
• Participate in processes that use pairwise comparisons and iterative evaluation to refine annotation guidelines and quality standards.

What Will You Do:

• Expertise in speech, audio engineering, or related fields. Familiarity with audio fidelity, emotional nuance, and conversational dynamics.
• Demonstrated deep understanding and expertise in speech aesthetics, including both technical and artistic aspects.
• Communication Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and guidance to internal teams and external vendors.
• Exceptional analytical abilities to identify trends, evaluate annotation quality, and provide actionable feedback.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Prior experience in annotations is very welcome and a bonus
