Job Overview

This is a core overseas business role focusing on international premium medical tourism and inbound medical services. Based in Malaysia, you will be responsible for global partnership development, negotiation, and official signing with international insurance companies, insurance brokers, and global TPA institutions. The role requires regular cross-border business trips to conduct face-to-face business visits, industry exhibition participation, and channel development. You will build up the global direct billing network for our hospital, enable direct insurance settlement for overseas premium medical insurance patients seeking medical treatment in China, and drive sustainable overseas patient referral and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Insurance Direct Billing Partnership Development & Signing

Carry out targeted business development for insurance markets in Malaysia, Southeast Asia, Europe, America and other regions. Conduct regular cross-border on-site visits, business negotiations and promotion with local insurance providers, brokers, medical assistance institutions and TPAs. Conduct in-depth research on local premium medical insurance policies, claim rules and direct billing standards, and complete partnership consultation, agreement revision, clause alignment and official signing in accordance with headquarters compliance regulations and hospital service standards.

2. Global Direct Billing System Construction & Compliance Management

Sort out the access qualifications, settlement procedures, claim standards and cooperation specifications of insurance institutions in different countries, and establish a standardized global direct billing operation system. Strictly implement headquarters compliance policies and cross-border medical settlement regulations, review agreement clauses, avoid cross-border cooperation risks and claim disputes, and ensure standardized, compliant and efficient global direct billing operations.

3. Overseas Partner Relationship Maintenance

Maintain long-term strategic cooperation with global insurance companies, brokerage firms and TPA partners. Conduct in-depth offline visits during cross-border business trips to strengthen partnership loyalty. Regularly update partners on hospital specialist advantages, international medical services, inbound medical policies and direct billing benefits, and respond efficiently to partner consultations, claim docking and patient referral demands.

4. Channel Empowerment & Overseas Patient Referral Growth

Focus on Malaysia and Southeast Asian core markets, empower overseas insurance channels via offline visits, industry exhibitions and online communication. Promote our hospital’s medical advantages and direct billing convenience to global premium insurance partners, encourage active patient referrals, and continuously improve the volume and conversion rate of international premium patients.

5. Data Review & Global Network Optimization

Regularly analyze global cooperation data, including partner quantity, direct billing coverage, patient referral volume and settlement efficiency. Identify market pain points and growth opportunities, explore high-quality new overseas insurance channels, optimize cross-border business processes, and continuously expand the hospital’s global direct billing network coverage.

Job Requirements

1. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business English, International Trade, Marketing, Insurance, Healthcare Management or related majors. 1-3 years of working experience in international business, overseas insurance cooperation, cross-border channel development or international medical business. Familiarity with Malaysia and Southeast Asian insurance markets is preferred. Candidate must be available for frequent and regular cross-border business travel with no travel restrictions.

2. Professional Skills

Familiar with global premium medical insurance systems, cross-border direct billing and claim settlement processes, and operation modes of international insurance companies, brokers and TPAs. Capable of independent overseas business negotiation, offline client visit and agreement signing. Fluent in English (spoken & written), able to conduct full English business negotiation, clause interpretation and official business communication independently. Strong risk judgment, clause analysis and compliance control capabilities.

3. Personal Competencies

Professional business demeanor, excellent communication skills and high pressure resistance. Able to adapt to cross-border time difference and frequent overseas business trips. Meticulous, responsible, proactive and result-oriented, with strong market development awareness and business growth mindset. Good cross-departmental coordination ability to solve cross-border medical service and claim docking issues efficiently.
