Job Overview:

Quanterm Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive - AP to manage day-to-day operational payments, perform monthly vendor reconciliations, and monitor container deposits. This position will support financial accuracy, manage cash flow planning, and maintain strong coordination with both internal operations teams and external vendors/agents.

Job Descriptions:

• Prepare monthly reconciliation reports for both local vendors and overseas agents.
• Monitor contra accounts for agents and follow up closely on accounts receivable collections.
• Ensure timely preparation of overseas agent payments and accurate posting into the accounting system.
• Monitor and plan daily cash flow requirements for bank accounts.
• Review and analyze AR/AP ageing reports and investigate long-outstanding balances.
• Respond to emails and attend to inquiries from operations teams and vendors.
• Resolve issues related to accounts payable matters efficiently.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:-

• Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• At least 2–3 years of working experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide sound advice on accounting treatments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and able to meet tight deadlines.
• A team player with the ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
