FUNCTIONAL TESTER – MANUAL TESTING

Location: Wisma LYL – TCS Delivery Centre, Malaysia
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Functional Tester with hands-on manual testing experience and strong test case design skills to join our client's team in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business and functional requirements to develop effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual functional testing to ensure applications meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify testing requirements and provide testing effort estimates.
• Understand application architecture and identify relevant testing considerations.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, and Confluence.
• Work with cross-functional teams throughout the software testing life cycle.
• Apply testing practices within Agile and Waterfall project environments.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in manual and functional testing.
• Ability to write comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, and Confluence.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• English, Cantonese, and Mandarin language skills for project communication.

Good to Have:

• Experience in the airline industry or airline-related applications.
