As a Engineer - Network Administrator at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….

Your key responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security) and communication systems.
• Support design, implementation, lifecycle management, and maintenance of global voice and video systems.
• Perform administrative tasks including performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization.
• Ensure network stability, availability, and performance, including incident handling and resolution.
• Participate in network installation, upgrade, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities.
• Coordinate and manage external service providers and vendors.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
• Support problem management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively within global teams and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Lead execution of network operations, maintenance, and support activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and communication issues.
• Support implementation of network upgrades, configurations, and optimization.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies, standards, and best practices.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science of the related field or equivalent work experience
• Hands‑on experience with SD‑WAN platforms (preferably VMware VeloCloud).
• Familiarity with cloud security solutions Zscaler .
• Strong understanding of WAN technologies and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Experience in troubleshooting network outages and resolving incidents within SLA.
• Demonstrates a strong learning orientation, adaptability, and openness to acquiring new technologies and skills.
• Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to support collaboration across global time zones. Able to work on evening and weekend if necessary.
• Prefer with experience with Microsoft Azure networking and cloud integration.
• Prefer with exposure to network security, firewall, and DDI technologies, including CheckPoint Firewall and BloxOne DDI, with familiarity in IPAM and monitoring tools such as CheckMK and StableNet.
