Assistant Key Account Manager, FMCG

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, target-driven Assistant Key Account Manager to manage and scale our core business with Hong Kong’s Top 4 supermarket/retail chains. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, optimizing account operations, identifying strategic product development opportunities, and strengthening relationships across key external and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Management & Sales Growth: Direct responsibility for managing relationships with Hong Kong’s Top 4 retailers; drive revenue, oversee order execution, and maintain operational excellence.

• Pricing & Business Reporting: Execute accurate price calculations, margin tracking, and order follow-ups while delivering key commercial reports directly to the Director.

• Product Development & Market Analysis: Monitor FMCG market trends and consumer insights to identify portfolio gaps; collaborate directly with international and local suppliers to launch new products.

• Trade Marketing & Promotions: Plan, negotiate, and execute impactful marketing campaigns and promotional activities to boost brand presence and retail sell-through.

• Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Maintain strong, regular communication across suppliers, internal teams, and retail buyers to hit strategic commercial goals.

• Performance Optimization: Track account performance metrics, evaluate campaign ROI, and propose data-backed strategies for continuous account improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Industry Experience: Proven track record in account management, trade sales, or business development—preferably within FMCG, food distribution, or wholesale.

• Language Proficiency: Business fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required.

• Core Skills: Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

• Work Style: Exceptionally organized with the agility to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
