About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Security Risk Management Specialist to support our information security and risk management activities.
As an integrated IT services and staffing solutions provider, we work with a range of clients, business partners and technology environments. This role will support the identification, assessment and management of information security and operational risks across internal processes, client engagements, technology services and third-party relationships.
The successful candidate will work closely with IT, operations, HR, recruitment, management and relevant stakeholders to strengthen risk awareness, security practices and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the identification and assessment of information security, technology and operational risks.
- Maintain and update security risk registers, assessments and related documentation.
- Assist in reviewing security controls, policies and procedures across internal business functions.
- Support risk assessments for IT services, client projects and third-party service providers.
- Monitor identified risks and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of information security policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Support vendor and third-party security assessments where required.
- Review access management, data handling and security-related processes.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable internal policies and relevant industry requirements.
- Support periodic security reviews, internal assessments and audit preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, control reviews, remediation activities and supporting documentation.
- Work with IT teams to track security-related issues and improvement activities.
- Support security awareness and internal communication initiatives.
- Assist management with periodic risk reports and security-related summaries.
- Monitor developments in information security, technology risk and data protection practices.
- Support other risk management and governance activities as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in information security, IT risk, technology risk, compliance, audit or governance is preferred.
- Basic understanding of information security principles and risk management frameworks.
- Familiarity with access control, data protection, security policies and IT governance concepts.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with IT and business teams.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar business productivity tools.

Working Environment
This position involves collaboration across IT, HR, recruitment, operations and management teams. The role requires a practical understanding of how security and risk controls can be incorporated into day-to-day business processes while supporting the delivery of IT and staffing services to clients.

Pay: $5,500.00 - $7,500.00 per month
