Serai Group Sdn Bhd is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to join our Finance team on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Handle and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and customer accounts.
• Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
• Prepare invoices, statements, and payment reminders.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve account discrepancies.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate reconciliation differences.
• Process and record accounting transactions accurately.
• Maintain updated AR ledgers, journals, payment records, and account statuses.
• Ensure petty cash transactions are properly recorded and monitored.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding billing, payments, and account-related matters.
• Process payments for expenses according to approved procedures and credit terms.
• Prepare reports and statements for internal use.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with experience in Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in the Food & Beverage or hospitality industry is an added advantage.
• Experience in full-set accounts will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Oracle, SQL Accounting System, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
