Role Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst partners with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, and Information Technology teams to improve convenience-store performance. The role analyses business needs and data, designs practical solutions, and supports the delivery of processes, systems, and analytics initiatives for company’s business growth.
Responsibilities :
Partner with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, and Information Technology stakeholders to identify business needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities for the company’s business growth.
Lead requirements gathering through regular meetings with the stakeholders, process observation, and data analysis; translating findings into clear business, functional, data, and reporting requirements.
Analyse sales, margin, basket size, customer traffic, promotion performance, availability, waste, shrinkage, labour productivity, and other key retail metrics to generate actionable insights.
Map current and future-state processes and recommend improvements to store operations, merchandising, replenishment, inventory control, pricing, promotions, and customer experience.
Develop business cases, options assessments, cost-benefit analyses and implementation recommendations for process and technology investments.
Define user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data definitions, and test scenarios; manage requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports, ensuring consistent KPI definitions, data quality, and alignment with business objectives.
Monitor post-implementation results, measure benefits realised and recommend further enhancements based on user feedback and performance data.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related discipline.
3+ years of Business Analysis or Data Analytics experience.
Business Intelligence and data visualization expertise.
Professional certifications in Business Analysis, Power Bl, Tableau, or Cloud Technologies are preferred.
Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power Bl.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or similar platforms.
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics
Experience with cloud data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses.
Experience in Al, predictive analytics, or machine learning projects would be an advantage.
Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality practices.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Agile project delivery experience.
Ability to engage business stakeholders and translate requirements into analytics solutions.
Strong English communication and presentation skills.
