Key Responsibilities

• Manage bank accounting activities including GL reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month/year-end close.
• Prepare and review financial reports, variance analyses, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, banking regulations, and internal policies.
• Maintain and strengthen accounting controls, governance, and risk management practices.
• Support audits and resolve audit findings.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with finance, treasury, operations, risk, and compliance teams.
• Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of bank accounting, financial reporting, GL management, and reconciliations.
• Good understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
