Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures and workplace safety practices.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, environmental and safety regulations.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks and EHS training for employees.
- Monitor proper use of PPE and maintain PPE stock, records and issuance.
- Coordinate emergency response, fire safety, first aid and emergency drills.
- Monitor and manage scheduled waste, chemical handling and environmental requirements.
- Maintain EHS documentation, records, reports and compliance submissions.
- Work closely with departments to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Support external inspections, audits and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Safety Management or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety, risk assessment, PPE and environmental requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to conduct safety inspections and training independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Green Book / SHO certification will be an added advantage.
