Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare. MSF’s actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence, and neutrality.

The MSF Asia Pacific (APAC) Partnership is an emerging collaboration among MSF offices across the Asia-Pacific region. Its purpose is to strengthen regional humanitarian capabilities, align shared operational priorities, and develop innovative models of support.

The Malaysia Branch Office is being established as the central administrative hub for the APAC Partnership.

Responsibilities of your role

Reporting to the Digital Manager this dynamic position will contribute to reaching strategic digital fundraising objectives for MSF with a particular focus on lead generation, donor acquisition and donor retention to reach fundraising income targets in the Asia Pacific region (specifically Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines).

You will also collaborate and provide support to broader digital campaigns related to awareness-raising, operational support and recruitment. Accountabilities include:

Digital Fundraising

• Deliver and optimise paid digital campaigns to drive fundraising income and maximise return on investment.
• Lead Google Ads and Google Ad Grant management, including agency coordination and performance optimisation.
• Support fundraising campaigns across Meta, email marketing and other digital channels.

Website Optimisation

• Support the ongoing management and optimisation of the APAC website to improve user experience, engagement and conversion rates.
• Use analytics and user insights to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.

Communications & Recruitment Marketing

• Provide paid media expertise to support communications, advocacy, awareness and recruitment marketing campaigns.
• Support digital content production, publishing, reporting and social media activities as required.

Data & Reporting

• Monitor, analyse and report on digital campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results.

What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will have an eagerness to learn new skills and will enjoy working in a hybrid virtual team with colleagues around the APAC region. Ideally, you can demonstrate:

• 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: digital fundraising, digital marketing, paid media management, paid search (SEM), ecommerce, conversion rate optimisation.
• 2+ years’ experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
• Ability to work autonomously, to take the lead on initiatives and to suggest new ideas and approaches to build engagement with our audiences in the region.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of the digital landscape in the APAC region.
• Problem solving skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
