Role Overview

To manage patching and vulnerability management across IT infrastructure and data centre environments, ensuring successful patch deployment and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patching using tools such as BigFix, SCCM, Netbot, or other available tools, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor patch deployments and ensure successful completion.
• Track patch management metrics and prepare compliance reports.
• Perform daily checks on patching tools and report any issues.
• Escalate major patching and vulnerability issues to L2/L3 teams.
• Raise change requests and follow ITIL and change management procedures.
• Coordinate patch schedules, change planning, and approvals with application and business owners.
• Work in shifts, including weekends, as part of a 24/7 operating model.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure smooth patching operations.

• Basic knowledge of patch management, vulnerability management, and reporting.
• Understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and security.
• Experience with patch management tools such as BigFix, SCCM, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of change management and ITIL processes.
• Good coordination, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free patching.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical certifications in IT infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, VMware, Networks, or Databases, are preferred.
