Job Summary

Deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights to support product, brand, and market decisions. Collaborate with business leaders to monitor performance, manage budgets, and ensure operational controls across sales entities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed financial analysis for product categories, brands, and markets to generate commercially relevant insights
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to analyze profitability and assess business impacts
• Monitor business issues and evaluate the financial impact on the bottom line
• Analyze proposed new product introductions and provide actionable financial insights
• Collaborate with business directors to track business goals, sales pipelines, and client profitability
• Provide timely and relevant financial reporting and insights to support business decision-making
• Perform monthly variance analysis of financial results and review drivers with commercial leaders to identify risks and control expenses
• Prepare and manage budgets and rolling forecasts for sales and selling expenses
• Lead business reviews comparing actual results against forecasts to inform strategy adjustments
• Manage customer contracts, liaise with Legal Counsel and Business Directors, and oversee contracted sales targets and incentive programs
• Ensure overseas sales entities and Singapore market comply with operational controls and governance requirements
• Utilize BI tools such as Tableau to enhance visibility of business performance and strengthen risk controls
• Execute ad-hoc financial and commercial duties as assigned

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, or FP&A, preferably in FMCG, retail, distribution, or product-driven environments
• Proven expertise in financial modelling, profitability analysis, and business partnering with senior commercial stakeholders
• Experience preparing budgets, rolling forecasts, and conducting monthly variance analysis
• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and Excel functions including pivot tables, power queries, and complex formulas
• Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and management reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are advantageous
