Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support investment research and analysis on securities, funds and financial products to inform investment decisions;
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk and attribution across external managers; prepare regular reporting to senior management and investment committees;
• Leverage data analytics tools to support decision-making in asset allocation, portfolio analytics, risk analytics, external fund manager assessment, and risk capital planning;
• Support due diligence on third-party fund managers (public and private markets), including data collection, peer comparison and preliminary analysis;
• Provide analytical support on other ad hoc projects (e.g. fund screening, stress testing, asset allocation analysis, ESG data tracking);
• Assist in monitoring portfolio compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations (incl. MAS requirements);
• Support coordination with custodian, systems/data vendors, group HQ and other departments
• Assist in documenting investment operations policies, processes and data procedures

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field
• No prior full-time experience required. Relevant internships, academic or personal projects are welcome.
• Strong analytical and data-processing skills; proficiency in Excel
• Interest in investments and willingness to build knowledge across multiple asset classes
• Detail-oriented, proactive, able to work independently within a small team, and willing to learn
• Familiarity with Bloomberg or other financial data platforms will be an advantage
