JOB RESPONSIBILITY :-
IPQC Team Leadership
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of IPQC Inspectors.
Plan daily inspection activities and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage across all production processes and shifts.
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to IPQC Inspectors.
Conduct regular team briefings on quality alerts, process changes, and improvement initiatives.

In-Process Quality Control
Oversee in-process inspections for machining, sheet metal forming, welding, assembly, and finishing operations.
Verify critical process parameters and product characteristics at defined stages.
Ensure compliance with work instructions, control plans, and quality standards during production.
Monitor process adherence and identify deviations that may affect product quality.

SPC Data Management
Ensure timely and accurate SPC (Statistical Process Control) data entry by IPQC Inspectors for critical dimensions and key process parameters.
Review SPC charts for trends, out-of-control conditions, and process capability.
Escalate abnormal SPC trends to Metrology Engineer, QE, or Production for immediate action.
Support Metrology Engineer in GR&R studies and process capability analysis.

Non-Conformance & Improvement
Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming parts during in-process checks.
Initiate QVRs and work with Production, Engineering, and QE teams for timely disposition and corrective actions.
Participate in root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why) for process-related defects.
Drive shop floor quality improvement and poka-yoke implementation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Production Supervisors, Process Engineers, FAI, and Metrology teams.
Provide real-time feedback to operators and supervisors on quality issues.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and first-run process validation.
Assist in internal and customer audits related to in-process controls.
