The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business relationships with clients to support business growth across relevant markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and establish connections with potential clients to support the company’s commercial objectives.
• Research potential client segments and regional markets to identify business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
• Develop a strong understanding of target client profiles, business needs, and the company’s products and services.
• Track, manage, and maintain prospective client information and business development activities in the company’s internal CRM system.
• Engage with prospective clients to understand their business requirements and provide relevant product information, coordinating with internal teams to support continuous product and service improvements.
• Coordinate with operations, compliance, and other relevant teams to facilitate client onboarding and ensure required documentation is completed in accordance with internal policies and applicable requirements.
• Monitor business development pipelines, follow up on outstanding items, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to progress business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
• Focused and goal-oriented
