The Technical Solutions Engineer will work closely with commercial teams across pre-sales, solution design, and API implementation. The role will engage strategic clients to understand their business requirements and technical challenges, translating them into practical and effective solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with Sales, Product, Development, Engineering, Legal, and Operations teams to support technical integrations, deliver client solutions, and achieve successful business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to design technical solutions that address clients' business requirements and technical challenges.
• Gather, analyze, and translate client requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Develop proof-of-concept applications and deliver technical demonstrations to showcase proposed solutions.
• Support Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and coordinate technical responses across relevant internal teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and guide clients on best practices for API integration and implementation.
• Provide structured client feedback and technical insights to Product and Engineering teams to support product improvements.
• Monitor technical deliverables and ensure timely completion in accordance with project plans.
• Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify suitable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing engineering, technical consulting, or solutions engineering role.
• At least 5 years of experience in the finance, FinTech, internet, payments, or related technology industry.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.

Pay: From RM8,200.00 per month
