Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Li Jinzhou on developing statistical and machine learning methods for reliable causal discovery, including new multiple testing and selective inference techniques to provide error-control guarantees, under a project on Reliable Causal Discovery in Complex Systems.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
•    Conduct research in statistical methodology and its applications.
•    Collaborate with the principal investigator and other researchers.
•    Prepare manuscripts for publication and present research findings at seminars and conferences.

Qualifications

•    Qualifications / Discipline:  PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline.
•    Skills:  Strong research skills, proficiency in R or Python, and effective written and oral communication skills.
•    Experience: Research experience in statistical methodology or machine learning, especially in causal inference, multiple testing, or selective inference.
