We Are Hiring: Facility Engineer (FACILITY MANAGEMENT)

Job Description

We are looking for a competent and proactive Facility Engineer to oversee and ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and management of building facilities and engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and ensure all building systems are functioning efficiently.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure work is carried out in accordance with contractual requirements and safety standards.
• Monitor the performance of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other related facilities.
• Attend to breakdowns, technical issues, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance records, work orders, and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations, and facility management standards.
• Assist in monitoring maintenance budgets, resources, and service delivery performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, or related engineering fields.
• Good technical knowledge of building services and M&E systems.
• Experience in coordinating contractors, maintenance teams, and service providers.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to attend to operational issues and emergencies when required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
