  • Support continuity of students' learning during suspension periods.
  • Guide students through appropriate reflection activities before their return to class.

Campus Supervision & Student Management

  • Provide a visible adult presence during recess, lunch, lesson transitions and dismissal periods.
  • Conduct systematic patrols with members of the Student Management Team.
  • Support supervision within the school and around the immediate school vicinity where required.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate student behaviour during recess and break periods.
  • Support proactive discipline strategies.
  • Assist with simple student reconciliation or mediation where required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a uniformed service, law enforcement environment or related secondary-school discipline management role.
  • Experience in student management, youth work or working with youths in a structured environment for behavioural support and restorative work.
  • Familiarity with investigation processes, disciplinary procedures and case management.
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements and relevant procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage students, school staff and parents appropriately.
  • Able to remain composed when handling challenging student situations.
  • Able to adopt a firm yet respectful approach when working with students.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a school environment.
