Job Title: Senior Bid Manager

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

This opportunity is with a global leader in intelligent airport solutions, supporting projects across the Asia region. The role focuses on preparing technically compliant and commercially sound quotations and tender submissions, working closely with sales, engineering, operations, and external suppliers. This position offers exposure to complex RFQs, BOQs, pricing models, and techno-commercial bid preparation within a highly technical airport systems environment.

Required Education:

• Engineering background or equivalent by experience

Required Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in a similar bid, quotation, or tender management function
• Proven experience preparing technical and commercial quotations
• Experience working with product configurations, BOQs, BOMs, calculation sheets, or pricing models
• Experience reviewing customer specifications and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs for quotations and tenders
• Experience in electrical, infrastructure, lighting, automation, airport systems, or other technical system-integration businesses

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of quotation and tender management processes
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, BOQs, and tender requirements and translate them into structured offers
• Strong commercial awareness including pricing, margins, Incoterms, payment terms, freight, warranty, and commercial assumptions
• Ability to identify tender risks, deviations, exclusions, and missing information
• Strong coordination skills across sales, product management, engineering, operations, finance, and external suppliers
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and document control
• Knowledge of risk assessment within the relevant technical domain
• Ability to learn technical products and understand application-specific requirements
• Use of calculation tools, ERP systems, sales databases, and MS Office
• Proficient use of approved AI productivity tools for document analysis, information extraction, comparison, drafting, and bid preparation support
• English and Mandarin language capability
• Clear written communication, technical aptitude, teamwork, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
• Mandarin speaker as this role supports bidding in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of airport systems, AGL, VDGS, Tower applications, ICAO, FAA requirements, or airport business
• Knowledge of AGL, VDGS, and Tower technologies
• Experience working in an international or multi-country environment
• Good knowledge of government tender requirements in Asia
