Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Operate a 24-foot lorry to transport loose cargo and goods safely to designated locations.
Carry out timely collection and delivery of cargo according to assigned schedules.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods manually when required, especially at locations where pallet jacks, forklifts or other material-handling equipment are not available.
Check delivery orders and ensure the correct quantity and type of goods are collected and delivered.
Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any defects, damage or maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
Comply with traffic regulations, workplace safety requirements and Company procedures at all times.
Handle delivery documents and obtain acknowledgement or proof of delivery where required.
Perform other transportation or operational duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence.
Relevant experience driving a 24-foot lorry or similar heavy vehicle is preferred.
Familiar with Singapore roads and delivery routes.
Able to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.
