Job Responsibilities

• Support manpower planning and recruitment strategies with a strong focus on blue-collar hiring.
• Manage the full hiring lifecycle, including requisitions, job ads, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer issuance.
• Utilize job portals, social media, referrals, walk-in interviews, career fairs, and agencies to fill operational roles.
• Drive high-volume recruitment for new outlet openings and urgent operational needs.
• Track time-to-fill, hiring volume, offer acceptance rates, and candidate drop-outs while maintaining vacancy lists and trackers.
• Coordinate complete onboarding, including induction sessions, employee handbook briefings, documentation, uniforms, facility access, and reporting setup.
• Advise employees on HR policies, SOPs, and compliance in accordance with the Malaysian Employment Act and Employee Handbook.
• Handle internal transfers, promotions, relocations, probation monitoring, and confirmation reviews.
• Assist with disciplinary actions, investigations, counselling sessions, and IR/ER documentation.
• Conduct exit interviews, manage departure checklists, analyze turnover trends, and recommend retention strategies.
• Handle work permit applications, renewals, tax clearances, and cancellations upon departure.
• Oversee worker welfare, room allocations, hostel upkeep, and conduct regular audits.
• Liaise with local councils (Majlis Perbandaran) and authorities to manage and renew business licenses.
• Coordinate operational training requirements, including scheduling and registering staff for Food Handling Courses.
• Handle daily company administration, prepare monthly HR reports/analytics, and perform ad-hoc HR tasks.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on HR experience with a strong focus on retail Talent Acquisition, preferably within the F&B, Retail, FMCG, or fast-paced service industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Employment Laws and statutory compliance regulations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, HRD Corp).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Familiar with HRIS, attendance/time-management systems (TMS), and recruitment platforms.
• Practical experience in bulk recruitment.
• Experience in payroll administration and foreign worker processing will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Highly organized with strong time-management capabilities to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of handling confidential information with high integrity.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
