Job Title: Senior Accountant – Singapore

Location: Singapore (Local Hire / Singapore Citizen or PR preferred)

Reports to: Finance Manager/Director

Role Overview:

Singapore serves as the international corporate and financial anchor of our business. We

are seeking an agile, proactive Senior Accountant to formally establish and take

ownership of the full sets of accounts across 3 Singapore entities. In addition to regular

financial controllership and statutory compliance, this role will play a hands-on role in

implementing our new enterprise financial software, laying the operational bedrock that

will unlock automated, non-linear scalability for the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Accounting Ownership: Own the full spectrum of accounting

functions (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation) for 3 Singapore

entities, ensuring strict compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards

(SFRS).

• Financial Close & Management Reporting: Drive timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes; produce comprehensive management accounts, balance sheet reviews, and variance analyses.
• Tax & Statutory Governance: Prepare quarterly GST filings, corporate income

tax (CIT) calculations, annual returns, and statutory reporting to ACRA and IRAS.

Manage annual statutory audits with external audit teams.

• ERP Implementation & Process Optimization: Serve as a core champion in

rolling out the company’s new financial software/ERP; actively participate in chart

of accounts design, historical data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and

standard operating procedure (SOP) formulation.

• Automation & Efficiency: Continuously identify operational bottlenecks and

assist in integrating digital/AI-enabled accounting tools to enhance cross-entity

reporting efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance, or professional qualifications (CA Singapore,

ACCA, CPA).

• 3-5 years of relevant full-set accounting experience in Singapore, preferably

managing multi-entity setups in fast-growing tech, trading, or regional corporate

environments.

• Practical, hands-on experience participating in finance system / ERP

implementations (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Xero) is highly desirable.

• Thorough understanding of Singapore tax regulations (GST, CIT rules) and SFRS

framework.

• Advanced Excel capabilities; high tech-savviness with enthusiasm for process

automation and modern finance tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; professional

proficiency in Mandarin is a significant plus for liaising with regional stakeholders.

• Structured analytical mindset, strong execution capabilities, and comfort with

building workflows from the ground up.
