Role and responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the Group’s corporate finance activities and mobility initiatives, including evaluation and execution of investments, M&A, divestments and undertake mobility initiatives, as well as monitoring and managing the existing mobility investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Finance
- Evaluate and support M&A, divestments, investments and other corporate finance transactions.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling and assessment of investment returns.
- Coordinate due diligence and support transaction structuring, negotiation and execution.
- Prepare investment proposals, management papers and presentations for Management and Board approvals.
- Work closely with business divisions, internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
Mobility
- Support and project manage strategic mobility initiatives across the Group.
- Monitor the performance of existing mobility investments and portfolio companies.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to optimise, restructure or exit existing investments where appropriate.
- Manage relationships with portfolio companies, strategic partners and other mobility ecosystem stakeholders.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare regular updates and analysis on corporate finance transactions, mobility initiatives and portfolio performance.
- Ensure transactions and investments comply with the Group’s governance and approval requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. CFA or professional accounting qualification would be an added advantage.
- At least 8–10 years’ relevant experience in corporate finance, M&A, investment banking, investments and/or corporate development.
- Strong financial analysis, valuation and financial modelling skills.
- Good commercial judgement, project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
